She embraced Judaism after immigrating to the U.S., adopting the name Chaviva upon her conversion eight years ago - a name meaning “beloved,” reflecting her warmth and vitality. Known for her boundless energy and engaging spirit, she’s become a respected presence in the Jewish community, sharing her story of resilience and transformation.
