DINA WACHTEL

BOARD MEMBER

Dina Wachtel is Executive Director for Canadian Friends of Hebrew University, and Immediate Past President of Vancouver Hebrew Free Loan Association.

Her expertise lies in professional fundraising and strategic initiatives that build bridges between Israel and Diaspora.

In that role she hosted Unit 669 for their first ever fundraising event outside of Israel which raised funds for students at Hebrew University who are graduates of unit 669

Dina’s past experience includes leadership positions as the Campaign Director and Israel Emissary with the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver.

She holds an Undergraduate degree in International Relations and a Graduate degree in Communication, both from Hebrew University.

Dina spent her high school years in Manhattan and Israel and served three years in the IDF as Lieutenant for administration of Talpiot project at Hebrew University.

She is married to Shlomi Wachtel parents to Amir and Shira and resides in Vancouver BC.
