Joel Eisdorfer

Joel Eisdorfer is a Business & Political Consultant and former Senior Advisor to NYC Mayor Eric Adams—the first Hasidic Jew in such a role at City Hall. A longtime civic leader from the Satmar community in Borough Park, he served nearly 20 years on Brooklyn’s Community Board 12, worked in the State Senate, and was a senior aide to then-Borough President Adams. At City Hall, he built strong ties with Jewish communities, chaired the Jewish Advisory Council, and led efforts against antisemitism. He left City Hall in May 2024 but continues to support the administration and community initiatives.
